HAITI A WINDOW TO THE WORLD

                                                          






There are no words you could ever say that would convey the pain these people are going through. Yet there is the fact that the human lose did not have to be as massive as it is. It is as if the people of Haiti were all put on the edge of a mountain and left there to wait for a strong wind to blow them all off at one time. This disaster was caused by nature and man, it is the role that man played that should make all of us take a second look at our selves. I can not understand how we kept our eyes closed all this time and let things get this far out of control. To make it even more shameful we have done this time and time again around the world with other countries. We have seen the condition of the people of Haiti long before this earthquake struck and we knew that almost every aspect of their lives were far below substandard. We also knew the reason behind this condition is greed, greed for power, money and control. Right now the world is running to Haiti to help , but for far to many of her people it is much to little and way to late. there is little to nothing we can do to stop nature from doing what it does, but we must find a way to stop man from doing what he does that makes a disaster like this one so much more massive. We must find the means to correct this madness, to many people around the world are on that same mountain waiting for the wind to blow. We must act now and take real steps towards the solution, I mean really big steps.
